About Captain’s Farm A2 Ghee
Captain’s Farm A2 Ghee is made from pure A2 milk of grass-fed Gir Cows using traditional Vedic methods. Delivered to you in its purest state, the ghee is not only 100% preservative-free but also contains only A2 protein, the easy-to-digest milk protein, found only in indigenous cows of India.

The Process of Making A2 Ghee:
- Fresh Gir Cow A2 milk is boiled and fermented to form curd in a clay pot.
- The curd is then hand-churned with a wooden churner, the “Bilona” way of butter extraction.
- The separated butter (Bilona) is then boiled to make ghee.
35 litres of milk goes into preparing 1 litre of pure A2 ghee and purity comes at a cost. So, don’t compare it with the open market alternatives of A1 ghee.
